Wiltshire Council have just published its proposed new parking strategy for consultation. Salisbury City Centre Management has produced a summary of the key proposals together with some initial observations.

Salisbury City Centre Management announces the appointment of Chris Litherland as their new "Marketing Manager". Mr Litherland takes over from Claire Burdon who has left SCCM to assume the position of Business Manager at Salisbury City Council.

 

Salisbury's new parking charges have received a mixed reception from a local business leader. The charges, which come into effect on 5 July, have generally been increased by 20p. The charge for parking on Sunday has been reduced from £2.00 to £1.50 but the cost for parking up to two hours goes up by a massive 25%.
